Piet Mondrian
The project involves the creation of an exhibition that celebrates the life and work of Piet Mondrian, one of the most iconic painters of 20th-century Modernism. The design concept is based on a thoughtful interpretation of Mondrian’s unique style, particularly his painting ‘Composition Red, Yellow and Blue 1028’.
The design incorporates the use of the golden ratio and symmetrical design, two key elements of the De Stijl movement that was a major influence on Mondrian’s work. The exhibition design aims to capture the essence of Mondrian’s style, while also paying homage to the larger artistic movement that shaped his perspective.
The exhibition will be held at the prestigious James Hockey Gallery, located at the University for the Creative Arts in Farnham. The location is perfect for hosting such a meaningful and inspiring exhibition, as it offers a rich artistic environment and attracts visitors from all over the world.
